This is probably simple, but i just got swap-magic for y ps2 v16 and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to open up my ps2 and tape the last switch down (pictures would help) the switch is in the back left corner. the reason i am asking is because i got those magic keyes or something simmilar and the last tool does not fit. thanks

i am in U.K which mod-chip will be good for My PS2 slim.
and if i put mod chip in my ps2 will its warrenty finished.
and can u tell me he web site to buy a mod chip in pounds.
help

DMS4 Pro SE or Matrix Infinity are 2 great chips
You can buy one for less $$$ (sorry no pound sign on my american PC)
but in the long run you get what you pay for, and there are very good reasons why those chips cost more than others.
Not sure of many sites but i know a guy over there who always suggests www.ghostfitter.co.uk (could not get this site to pull up)
which may actually be http://www.ghost2fitter.co.uk/ which works fine
as far as the warranty, yes. once you open the PSTwo and break that little sticker the warranty is void.

You should just order the right set of magic keys. They are somewhat of a pain, but once you get them right, they work flawlessly. Also that way you don't have to break your warranty, which is why a lot of people get SM in the first place.

there are a lot of products on that page, but the bottom line is if u open up ur ps2, the warranty is viod. So, if u a v13,14 ps2 and buy the fliptop combo, say buh-bye to ur warranty. And yes, Sonys warranty is only good for 90 days.

many people have problems using cheat discs with swap magic, but there is a way because i use to do it.
My DMS4 Pro has no problems loading games with AR Max cheat. Not that i need AR Max now that the ToxicOS that the DMS4 Pro runs on has a built in area to enter cheats so you can play games from a hard drive or from the disc with cheats.

flip lid is the way to go http://www.ps2laser.co.uk sell them in the uk and as for the warranty side of things i used a hairdryer and a razor blade to get my label off in one piece and kept it with the original ps2 lid just incase anything goes wrong while its still in warranty not that it did

yeah swap magic will play all regions, if ur in uk and use an old tv u might experiance NTSC games play in black and white but if u have a new style big tv u will be ok

I would stay away from coder, its gives ppl more problems than SM 3.6.
