Please help, weird things are happen when i try to burn with Nero!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone, this is my first post at this forum. I been having a lot of problems recently with Nero. Whenever I try to burn a DVD, Nero just closes the Neroexpress window and I dont see anymore. And when I try to run the program again it, a pop up window says the the application is already running. I have burned many DVD's before any never had this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This just happened to me the other day again and I figured out what it was in my case. I was using captured mpegs from svhs tapes to burn a DVD-R. When I was capturing one of the clips I jarred the workstation by walking into one of the doors (doh!) as I passed by. I remember also a month or so ago doing essentially the same thing by putting my satchel down on the table while I was capturing. I assume that this shook the PC as I was capturing and jarred the HD.
Anywho, in both cases these particular clips both times caused Nero to do what you just explained. I was able both times to ID the particular clip by adding them one by one to my project and seeing which clip freaked Nero out. It starts analyzing the clip and then bang nothing. All I had to do was recapture the bad clip and it was fine
"Exactly the same, only different".

I had the lastest version of Nero 7 and ppl said that it had too many bugs so I thought that maybe that was the reason for this. So I then try with Nero 6 with the same results. thank for your help in advance.

if using Nero 6.6.1.4 then this is also full of bugs Nero 6.6.0.18 is recommended

you might consider rolloing your version of Nero back to 6.6.0.18 as the version you are using is buggy and also doesnt utitise auto burning with nero
