I have a damage DVD movie which I have a ripped copy of sitting on my computer. I want to now burn it to a DVD but I only want the main movie not the whole 7 gigs because I don't have a dual layer burner. My question can I rerip the movie to grap the main movie files only? Of all the ripping software I have and seen they only read from the DVD drive and not a folder. I have both a Mac, PC and Gentoo Linus box.

If you already have a copy of the movie on your computer .. just use DVD Shrink to strip away everything except the main movie .. then, if the movie is still too large to fit on a 4.38GB DVD you can always shrink it to fit ...
