PSP Volume Control. I am not deaf but the volume is too low!

Hi to all,
I really think that the volume on the PSP is too low, even at the max! I checked for all possibilities including the AVLS and made sure it is off. Is there a way to increase the volume beyond its max...is there some kid of a volume boost?
Any help is appreciated.

they sell big speakers at future shop where u put the psp on n it increases the volume

theres also a mod that makes it like 5x louder... search around, i saw it on these forums... involves removing the cloth that covers the speakers i think

i would like to say that if you have a 1.5 firmware the volume will be low, it is increased by a decent amount when you upgrade to 2.0 firmware...(but thats just gay)
there aint no better sig :D

I am using 2.6 firm ware.
The volume through the earphones is just not loud enough, compared with a CD player playing the same music as the one on my PSP. So, how do I go about making that increase?

I have 1.5 and the volume is fine. Maybe its just some models.

ppl have said that you should just get better headphones the psp ones arent the best. People swear by the ipod ones; I, myself think the psp ones are loud enough but a decent set of headphones.
or if your encoding a movie you could try boosting the volume some programs allow this option.

Being a fan of any one who gives advice on these forms cuz theyve helped me out alot made me wanna give back. I think i found the answer to the volume problem, i jus upped the volume of the track till it was almost clipping in my head phones from the computer, but i found on my psp it was clean but 10x louder... so what ever song you put on your psp up the volume using something like cool edit and THATS THE KEY... tell me if you find it better thanx
