Hi, I have a few video clips that are not the same time length each. I have WinAVI which can burn all those AVIs to a DVD but I want one chapter per clip. The problem is that the chapter length is only one specific time frame so I can't get it to skip an episode each chapter. Is there any other software or anything like that that does what I want? Thanks in advance.

Nero vision express will let you do chapters manuly. Are you sure that WinAVI dosent have an option to place chapters manuly instead of automaticly?

Hmm, when I don't set a chapter length, new clips are automatically new chapters. However, while I watch them, at some parts, it has like blocks of one shaded pixels. I use WinAVI with this. Also, for Nero Vision, how do I set chapters? If I just loaded the video files and didn't do anything with the chapters, would the chapters automatically be made at each video clip or do I need to use the "Add Chapter" feature? Thanks in advance.

With Nero it makes each file its own file (Chapter) so yes if you bring 3 files in without making any chapters you still will have actully in a sense 3 chapters. You can click next and it will go to the next file. Plus in Nero you can make a menu and you can choose which ever file you want to watch.

Hmmm, I like the functionality of Nero Vision, but I am trying to burn 12 clips, which take about 3.8 GB, and I am using the Super Long Play option with a Fast Encoding option (1-pass). I made a simple menu and I am trying to burn right now. After about one hour, it is still on the first step "Creating Menu Transcoding Streams". The total progress is still unchanged at zero. How long does it take to complete this with my type of files?

Converting and creating the menu can take a while to do. Uasly takes me around 2 to 3 hours to do a DVD that I import 4 to 6 files into.

Hmm, I guess that it can take me well into 8-10 hours then. Boy this takes a while. Hopefully it won't have little blotches like with WinAVI.
