hi all,
all the questions about soccom 3 working online can come to an end because yes it does work with a burnt game, i used windip 1.7 and i have messiah chip and it works !!!
so anybody tells you it doesnt then they dont know crap

oh believe me i am effin serious, im using PAL version and to the guy asking the slide tool version well i dont know what that is sorry but the code givern on this website to patch the game is BULL CRAP thats why i think people are having problems getting online because i used another code and worked easily with no DNAS errors or anything so i wish u all look because it is an amazing game

hmm.., I've thrown to much DVD's away to burn socom 3 (online)

Oh, your using the PAL version,maybe the PAL version works but NTSC doesnt.

PAL version does work because it's not as complex as the NTSC/US version, we have had so many patches out and sony put the highest encription.. but they didn't with the PAL version, the game leaked before the servers were even up so they just rushed to get the servers online so they didn't bother with it... but a socom update is 3000kb for the NTSC so if same goes with PAL version it might have something in it to stop you from playing online, like check if the disk is auth.

Absolutely no problems here... I patched the ISO with the DNAS above and worked with absolutely no problems.

were there is xx xx, u fill it in with any 2 letters from a-f and any 2 numbers from 1-9, so example would be ad 40, hope this helps

if i hav a NTSC ps2, NTSC game with the PAL dnas and i log in will it work, and will i play against PAL ppl or NTSC ppl?

I have a problem with SOCOM games and games like Hardware online or the games with the 8 looking logo for online play, everytime I try logging in, it always says Error occured whilst checking DNAS, and thats for games like SOCOM 2, and they are all retail, I'm not sure why. So If I try a backup of SOCOM 3, then will it work?

if your PS2 is chipped yeh backups will work then and for your DNAS problems it has to be a hardware problem especially if they are real games

I have the same problem as "3dluis", I got that error aswell (Error occured whilst checking DNAS).
All my original games do work online, only my burned games don't
I Dnas-patched the socom 3 iso with the code in this forum, but it doesn't work
help
