AR Max , Swap Magic and DVD Loader HELP?

OK I've read every thing here and written all those dvd loaders and cd loaders onto cd's but none of them worked for me. Here are the steps I do:
1.Put in Swap Magic.
2.Load AR Max.
3.Choose the codes I want to enable.
4.When they ask for the disc I put in Swap Magic.
5.Then swap Swap Magic With DVD Loader using slide tool.
And then the PS2 takes me all the way back to where they show both mem. cards.
I've tried it with DVD loader an CD loader an lots of other steps but still .......... Nothing. Can anyone plz give me a proper step by step How to do this thing. PLZZZ.

In case your doing something wrong,
burn cd loader to cd, load with swap magic cd.
OR, burn dvd loader to dvd, load with swap magic dvd.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

you will need Swap Magic
DVDLoader you burn the DVDLoader to a DVD
and your AR Max disc of course
Note: if you are loading a CD game or have an older V4 or below PS2 you may need to use CDLoader instead of DVDLoader, and you may need to use the CD version of Swap Magic and not the DVD version.
1. Put in your AR Max disc and when it loads up choose expert mode. Go down the list and choose your game and start with codes as you normally would.
2. When the AR Max asks for the disc PRESS EJECT and put in your Swap Magic DVD
3. When the Swap Magic asks for a disc SWAP using your slidecard or fliptop for the DVDLoader disc
4. When DVDLoader tells you to swap using EA method you PRESS EJECT and put your Swap Magic DVD back in
5. When Swap Magic asks for a disc SWAP using your slidecard or fliptop.
This should load your back up games with the cheat codes, enjoy

Try this.
PS2 STATUS: OFF.
CONNECTED: Controller, Memory Card, AR MAX USB Dongle.
IN DISC TRAY: AR MAX Disc.
1. Turn on PS2. Wait for AR MAX to load.
2. Select "Expert Mode."
3. Select your game.
4. Select your codes.
5. Press Start.
6. Press X.
7. Eject. Insert Swap Magic Disc. Press X.
8. *** AS SOON as the screen turns black, remove memory card and USB Dongle. ***
9. When Swap Magic loads, use flip-top or slide method to replace Swap Magic Disc with DVD Loader Disc. Press X.
10. *** If DVD Loader fails to load after this, the memory card and/or USB Dongle did not get removed at the right time. Restart from step one. ***
11. When DVD Loader loads, eject and insert Swap Magic Disc again.
12. Press X.
13. When prompted, use flip-top or slide method to replace Swap Magic Disc with your PS2 game disc. Press X.
14. Re-insert memory card and USB Dongle.
15. Your game is loaded with cheats. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Or to save the hassle, get Xploder v4/v5 or GameShark v3/v4/v5 as these work very easily with Swap Magic etc..
Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!! |

I don't know why all this fuss over loading Ar Max with codes using the DVDloader. The Swap 3.+ renders the use of the dvdloader. Now What you really need and this is all you need!
RIP to either and or both so you have either one to work with.
(Straight Swap Magic CD needed)
If you rip it to a CD then it's a Swap Magic CDloader - It'll say PS2 CD on the lower left corner when it loads to the CDloader screen.
(Straight Swap Magic DVD needed)
If you rip it to a DVD then it's a Swap Magic (CD)DVDloader - It'll say PS2 DVD on the lower left corner when it loads to the CDloader screen.
Note: This does not work with the Swap Magic with Ar Max integration.
Note: This does not work with the Ultimate Edition CD with Swap Magic 3.6
This was and is working on a V4 PS2 and Swap Magic 3.6 - My 2.0 has a crack and won't load.
1.) Backup Game - or - Actual Game
2.) Swap magic 2.0, 3.3, 3.6 - Either one
3.) A CD Copy or DVD copy of Ar Max Evo or Download this one. Max Media Loaded with all the updated codes as of 5/04/2006 http://ts.searching.com/torrent/726204/MAX_MEDIA_NTSC_CD_DVD_UPDATED
The Ar Max evo above is integrated with cdloader. No other Extra disc's are needed.
How to Play with cheats, And be immortal! hahaha
This guide is for the use of Game backup and Ar Max with cdloader integration backup. Actual Swap magic is needed.
1.) Load in Swap magic, Waite for screen
2.) Swap out for the Above Ar Max evo, Press X
3.) Scroll down D-Pad to where it says RESET IOP: At second time.
4.) Using D-Pad change to RESET IOP: Always - Press X
5.) Press X on the Cdloader screen.
Note: With this ISO. I made it with 2 other Menu Selections. HD Advanced v1 & USB Advanced
6.) Press X on the MaxMedia Menu selection. -or- AR Max evo. Waite for screen. might take 20secs.
7.) Press X on the Expert Mode. Waite for codes to load.
8.) Choose your Weapons. I mean game and codes. Press start
..........On this I used Final Fantasy X.............
9.) Press X - Start game with codes. Waite for game save and Loading game - Do not change the disc or take it out!
STOP
Now this is where every one thinks they need to change the disc to Swap magic and then to DVDloader. THIS is not true. You do not need to change the disc at this time!
10.) I dare you to Press X again. hahah j/k You need to press X Again - Do not change the disc or take it out!
Now you should be back to the CDloader black menu screen. NO need to Reset IOP at this time.
11.) Press X At the CDloader Black menu Screen. Waite for the Blue screen.
Now is when you change disc
12.) Eject the CD/DVD. Place in Swap Magic - Waite for PS2 DVD to show in the lower left corner.
NOTE: if you have a slim ps2 take out one of the magic switch bits that is used to fool the ps2 into thinking the lid is closed then put the part back.
13.) Press X - Waite for Red CD/DVD screen
14.) Swap it out at this time for the Backup Game.
15.) Press X
GIL 999999999 and doesn't move
Be the Immortal and play the game the way you want to play it. hahaha. j/k just play the game now. You should be all set with Cheats in hand.

Thanx that was awesome. So its a iso. Do I just write the iso on a cd then load with swap magic and folow your steps and **wala**? By the way that torrent does not have any seeds(sources) and wont download. ANY HELP? Or maybe another link for download? Thanx

OK ive done everything you said and the game loads like it should
BUT the codes isnt enabled.
Ive only tried TOCA race driver 3. Do you think it's maybe a bad code or bad game??? Plz... I'm on my way to try out other codes but would you plz come back to my question...

don't know about toca race driver aint tried it on that game yet.
Are you sure you're selecting the codes
before you hit the start button?

Manually add them, codes can be found here. http://us.codejunkies.com/codes.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&p=13 But, Like I said above maybe you didn't READ it. the codes are upto date as of May 04 2006. That's only 4 days ago. Any games that come out prior to the above is well aint worth it, Yet!. Also I tried toca race driver 3 and it started me on lap 3 from the cheat code selection. If you're on a Slimline PS2 then maybe you aint got the Magic switch in or the Ghost Switch in. Who knows really. As for the Game list for code testing. couldn't tell you. Aint got the time to test all the games with codes. hahaha

I've heard you must pull out the memory card but not sure about that. When the games start do i have to do somethig or do I just play the games and the codes are actavated? But by the way it doesnt work. So do you know what the prob is or is it maybe the ps2?
Its weird to me that everyone does get it right an I'm the one that doesnt get it to work! Plz if you forgot something plz let me know because it really looks nice to have infinite haelth an to unlock everything so could you plz come back to this one... Or enyone else who knows my prob? Thanx

This works a treat ! Thank you so much Quake-69.
No need to pull out memory card, just follow the specific instructions and you're good to go.
One question though - is it possible to create a disc like this but a PAL version with PAL codes ??
Could use them both then depending on what game I want the codes for (or am i being greedy lol ?).
One other point - if I put the NTSC codes on a flash drive and plug this into my PS2 will it load these codes before automatically loading up the ones on the disc ?

I just found this note some place on here for the slimline boot.
