Im using Sony CD-Rs.
To tell you the truth, I tried to uninstall Nero, and put Roxio back on my PC, but it did the exact same thing. I even tried a different media brand. I updated the CD Rom firmware and even uninstalled it and let windows re-install it. I cant figure this out to save my life.

and by the way...... Roxio and Nero don't mix..... so if you want Nero to work properly I would use Roxio Zapper and take it completely off your system! then do a registry clean up, defrag hard drive, and reboot..... then install Nero again!

maybe it's time to clean up the computer (clean registry, compact & defragement the registry, defrag hard drive, empty temp files, find and remove spyware, etc.) I keep my clean as a whistle and running like new!! All my programs work best that way, fast and to it's optimum.
