I'm using azureus to download a 8.7gb file. Currently its downloaded 1.04gb but it says that its only 4.7% completed. i used a calculator to check if this was correct(as even from a glance u can see that its incorrect) i did 8700/100 x 4.7 and got around 408mb. Why is Azureus trying to download more than the file size? i recently also downloaded a movie that was 700mb and when azureus had downloaded 700mb it said that it was only 95% completed yet when i opened it with vlc player it played perfectly. any answers will be appreciated.

check to see if any data was discarded (double click the download in the upper right hand it will have discarded data) double dl'd files or corrupted files are discarded but still go towards the total dl'd #

only 10mb discarded. also today it was on 5% completed but it had downloaded 1.1gb. which means that i have to download 22gb to finish the file.

well your in quite a pickle. if it does this on all files then i wolld suggests redownloading Azureus, or if it only does it for a few check the trackers ( where you got the torret from), if they are from the same site maybe thet are jacked up. Or there are plug-ins you can get for Azureus that are beter @ tracking DL percentages. hope you get your stuff strait

There seems to be a few problems with Azureus as i have had a few aswel. I had TCP reachability problems along side DL percentage tracking plus many more. I have downloaded plugins which have solved many of these from the Azureus website. The only problem with it at the minute is it closes itself down when it feels like it! So if anyone has the answer please let me know
