hi
welcome to afterdawn

this happens when i burn with my standalone cyberhome dvd recorder & try to put it on pc.
here's how i do it -

scan the disc to hard drive using dvd decrypter using file mode(free download)
you will have a VIDEO_TS file (& i end up with a VIDEO_RM file this is what confuses the pc - the VIDEO_RM file)
i delete the video_rm file
then make a new (empty) folder & name it AUDIO_TS (in caps)
burn it to disc & it should now work.

let me know if you need anymore help & let me know if this works for you :-)

the computer is not recognizing your disk at all! what's your media?

and that's a little confusing to me when you said:
Quote:
windows says unrecognized file format
that means it recognizes your disk but the files are wrong...... then you say the devise is empty.... that's the computer saying that your disk is not recognized! which is it? or did you switch disks?

hi all. let me explain this mess. when i use DVD Decrypter it says that the disc is empty, seems like the disc is unreadable, but i can play the disk with Nero.........
Now if i load the dick into DVD Shrink is responds with this format is not recognised with windows just weird thats all. the disk brand imitation.I will try another brand and follow the steps that gjl2002 told me to do, any other suggestions, would love to hear them.
thanks pumba
