I'm sorry if someone already answered this before, but after doing a search it appears topics on this title aren't the same as my query.

I ripped SvsR2006 using Decrypter, burned it perfectly fine at 4x with Decrypter again, on some fake TDK's (RITEKG05's to be precise). The game loads fine etc, but it seems like the audio cuts out sometimes while in the ring. I assumed this was due to dummy files, but it appears this disk does not have any dummy files as it is.

Has anyone else had the same problem/could give me some advice?

i got a perfect working copy the easy way is to do what i did make AN ISO FILE of it first DO NOT RIP THE GAME IT DOESNT NEED IT!

burn with Datawrite DVD-R and DVDDecrypter works fine!

i dont think he meant he ripped the game but just made an image, always use good media, and keep away from dtatwrite for ur ps2, they may work for a while but they wont help the life of ur ps2

Personaly i only ever use Datawrite -R for my PS2 and ive never had a problem

Datarite DVD-R
DVD Decrypter
Newsgroup Account

thats all i have and every single one of my PS2 Games Work perfectly and have done for a long time!

I'm guessing it was just a shonky burn, I have some original TY so I might give that try.

EDIT: I reburned with TY originals, works like a charm, guess they where right when they said media quality > all.
