No, I think you will only see 100% when you look at your backup....

The compression % along with the burn speed are things you need to write down or put on the disc, as they cant be figured out once burnt.
I use DVD Rebuilder Pro when i cant get the compression above 70%. With anything 70% or better, i never see any problems in playback.

70% or better (less compression), use a transcoder like CloneDVD2 or DVD Shrink.
70% and lower (more compression), use an encoder like CCE basic and DVD Rebuilder Pro.
Or, use a DL disc and get everything if the movie is worth it.

I kinda went beyond your question as the simple answer is NO (unless you kept notes).

I'm with my buddy MaxBurn here all-the-way. However, the choice is yours (i.e. depends if you're willing to spend the extra hours to "encode" a single movie). Honestly, I value all/any of my backups, including its quality and longevity, so I'll use the best media (Taiyo Yuden) and best "encoder & transcoder" to do the task. Below is what I primary used and still use on a daily basis.

<> 70% or above on the Video Quality (less compressions needed), I'll use Nero Recode 2 (AA + HQSR)
<> 69% or below on the Video Quality (more compressions needed), I'll use DVD-RB Pro + CCE SP 2.7

Good luck and happy burning.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.

Yep, what's done is done, gotta start making notes Crouch57. I also use DVD Rebuilder Pro for my 70% and lower backups, is it just me? when i backup with Rebuilder Pro, the movie sounds better!
