i have a ps2 with flip lid .i put swap magic in and then put my back up game in.when i put game in ps2 it starts making noise .like laser or something .when i leave lid open it works fine . help please
could be many things either laser problem, or many other things like the metal or plastic arm attached to the laser grinding just open the console up, move the laser down a notch if using v 1-8 just adjust the white cog to the left 2 notches, if v 9-10 just adjust the two white cogs to the left 1 notch, and if slimline the laser angle on the screw just give it the tiniest turn to the left. cheers,

thanks just adjusted the white cog >>>>>>>>plays dvd games fine .but it wont play cd -rs at all .should i adjust the len angle. its strange if i leave a dvd game in there and open flip lid it stays there just fine .but when i put in a cd game it like pops it out .and with lid closed it just stops spining like it wont read it ..any ideas .and what is best for the laser tray i dont know if i moved it left or right.what is best for laser all the way down or all the way up
well i adjusted to the left tried it.then adjust to the right.some ps2 games will play and some wont.now dvd rom swap magic wont even load.is the ps2 junk ?or did sap die ?swap is only a week old.and what is a life span of a ps2 ?mine is a 2001 model. thanks for any ideas on this
