Let me start by saying that I have been able to successfully burn and play all the other games I have to include online games (except Socom 3, but i think that is possible now too). Well, I tried to burn MLB 2K6, patch it, burn it, and then play it, and I get an error after the swap-magic disk is replaced with my game. The error I get is "Not a valid PS2 Disk" error inside the swap magic splash screen. These are the steps I took.

1. Ripped the game with DVD Decrypter (success)

2. patched the game with Image Patcher V1.6 (success)

3. Burned game to same type of DVD all my other games work on (Can't think of name, and don't have in front of me -- they are blue on top) using DVD Decrypter. (error "Not a valid PS2 Disk" ).

4. Tried moving the ISO to a new location, re-patched the game, and re-burned (no success - same error)

5. Used the Nero Burning Rom ISO/UDF option and burned using Nero (no success).

Any thought on what I could be doing wrong or any other ideas would be ver beneficial. I am also going to try a different type of media to see if that is the prob.

BTW -- system specs exceed recomended requirements, and Burner is 16X R/WR+-, but I burn at 4X, and the disks are -R. Thanks in advance.

First of all, you don't need to patch the game, just do a straight 1:1 burn(I use Alchohol 120 and all games are perfect so far) . 2nd, you need to download Zoneloader, find it and download it and burn it on to a DVD-R. Lastly, Run Swap Magic then pop in Zoneloader and then pop in the Major League Baseball 2K6. In my opinion, I say that this game was probably one of the worst baseball games I have ever played, I feel as I wasted a DVD-R.<-- Don't flame, it is just my opinion.

If you really want a very good Baseball game, you should try Pro Yakyuu/Baseball Spirits 3,<---the game is not in full Japanese some is in english so it is easy to play along.

Thanks much for the info. The game is alright, but I just play it for the online competition (which is decent from my experiances). Does Pro Yakyuu/Baseball Spirits 3 offer online play? I will check it out.

What exactly does Zoneloader do? Is it a means to bypass the DNAS patching? Thanks a ton for the info.

Your're welcome, glad it worked for you. And sadley, Pro Yakyuu Spirits 3 does not have online play.
