i think i have bittorrent 4.4.1
i use d-link di-624
i already did port forwarding
i dont know about my router firewall but windows firewall is off
but my download wont start... i waited like 50 minutes and its still starting download
i set my upload speed max at 406 (cheaked at a site forgot what it was called)
and when it did download max speed is like 50kb.... i see other people with like 100-200kb
i also use rogers express

Switch to utorrent and read the guide in my sig, follow all the steps and if you still need help, please post again.

Rodgers has been known to be throttling torrents on there ISP.
You need a bittorrent client that has protocol header encryption.

Jizmak,
One of the steps in my guide shows how to use header encryption for utorrent ;)

Use search for rogers, because i know a certain port is open just not sure which one, might be 1720, but search for it :)

I am aware, And might I add you have a very good utorrent guide.
The poster was using some other torrent client though that I
dont think has the header encryption as a viable option.
And I know from a buddy that rogers at his flat was throttling
his torrents.
