So I used to use BT and get speeds of 100kbs. But a few months ago speeds have dropped to 2-5kbs. I have done everything ever mentioned in the guides. I have done port forwarding. I have changed the port from the standared 6881-6889 to a much higher range. I have set up my fire wall. I have taken my fire wall down. I have checked to see if I had the windows firewall going. My local IP is static and set up to work with the forwarding. I am using torrents with a very good ammount of seeders. I have set up max upload/download speeds from unlimited to a number guides recomended(And back after that didnt work). Heck I even get the green light showing things are set up correctly. This has been going on for to long and I am at my wits end. Can any one offer any advice? If you need any further information just let me know. Thanks.

A couple things you could try.

Uninstall your client, try another. Not that one's faster, but sometimes settings get cooked, registry settings get borked.

Try turning on header encryption. This seems to work for some people, for others it makes them permenantly unconnectable, even after setting up contingencies.

You could also, possibly, run something like Tor for proxying tracker communications, to see if you can fool your ISP into thinking your traffic is coming from elsewhere, but that probably won't work.

You can also try plugging directly into your modem, ignore your router. Re-try a torrent, and see what your speeds do. It's likely your ISP is watching header traffic, thus the encryption fix. It's also possible you've got something else using the same port, or wanting to use the same port, so try a different port. I use 16881, no need @ all to go over 50000.

Also, and I've seen this muck up some people before, turn off the "random ports" feature in your client, if it's turned on. You need 1 port, no more, no less.
