hey,

well I want to play WE10 badly, but my modded ps2 sucks bc it practically won't play burned dvds. In the past, a dvdrip version comes out within a week of the Winning Eleven games, but for WE10 there has been no signs of one. does anyone know if one is in the works? how do you convert it bc maybe I could do it? hope someone is working on one so that I can finally play this game! any info would be appreciated, thanks. later

DVDRips are a thing of the past, only Genius still insist on releasing the occassional one, but they're few & far between, since the cost of DVD Writers & blank DVDs is so low.

You could try ripping it yourself, but you may need a specific tool to extract files from larger 'munge' files or special files if downsizing/removing movies etc.. doesn't make the image small enough for a CD.

It's not an easy job if you've never done it before.

I suggest cleaning and/or adjusting your laser lens so it will read DVDs, and get a better brand such as Taiyo Yuden or RITEK.

If all else fails, buy a 2nd hand PS2, those are cheap enough these days. I saw one in a UK store called 'GameStation' for around £40 ($68), which is a very good price when you consider a new lens would cost £30 ($51)

Only the JAP version is available. To play in English, you'll need to use a translation patch to patch the iso with PPF-O-Matic.

The latest patch is called "Fernando_we10_english_v3_99%.ppf"

You can get it, either at the link gnie posted up, or in the PS2 General Forum of backupscene.com (link in sig)
