Problems Uninstalling Kazaa

Hi there,
I'm having troube uninstalling Kazaa from my computer. I'm running windows xp. When i go to the control panel and try and remove it it gives me the following error message;
InstallShieod (R) Steup Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
I am positive kazaa is not running in the background and i am not using an programs in my shared folder at the same time. I just want this crumby program off my computer so i can get rid of the adware.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well to see if its runing in the background got to your task manager and see if its listed in the process. If soo end the process and try uninstalling again.

If that does not work try rebooting in safe mode with no network support and then go to add remove programs and uninstall that way.

If that does not work just do it the old fasion way of deleting the folder, this otion will still leave traces on your pc, which you can get rid of if you use a registry cleaner.
