I have just ordered some new components from scan after getting some fantastic advice from this forum especially BIGDK..

I am looking for a graphics card for the system that will allow me to play FEAR, DOOM3 etc at acceptable levels. My 19" monitor will support 1280x1024. The whole system comes in at under £370 so I need some advice on a card that will play well on its own but have sli capabilities for upgrade options later and not cost the earth.
I have been recommended the 7900gt but at £200 it costs more than half of my build.
