I have just a quick question about identifying if my TV supports NTSC:

I have a few games which at the start up ask me if i want PAL 50hz or NTSC 60hz mode...no matter what mode i select it always runs fine in colour

my question is does this mean my TV supports 60hz NTSC? and will i be able to play all NTSC games on my PAL playstation2 with Swap Magic 3.6 by just booting like my PAL backups?

If not what do i have to do to boot up NTSC games with Swap Magic?

:O

If it runs fine in both modes, then you should be able to play NTSC games as well. To be honest the answer was in your question!

Thats because you was probably using an RF lead and not a scart lead.

Oooh! How times have changed!

Aslong as your PAL PS2 will play 60hz games fine through your TV then playing NTSC games will be fine also using swap magic.

You gotta love the worldwide web.

Not if you're using a proper scart cable, it'll convert the signal automatically. NTSC mode may work for you just now, but I'm unsure on how SM's NTSC mode is implimented by SM.
