Wont Burn DVD's But will Burn CD's

I am using Nero 7 and have went from Nero 6.Nero 7 will only burn to CD and NOT to DVD. It just freezes for ages and eventually i have to unplug the pc to take out the DVD. Any ideas why this is happening?

I did uninstall Nero 6 fully using Crap Cleaner also and a Nero Cleaning Tool.

Please help.

What version of Nero 7 are you using? Some of the early ones were full of bugs. Check and make sure you have the latest which seems to be stable.

and make sure you didnt install INCD with the package that causes to many problems ,if you have uninstall the program and run a clean tool for INCD
