You can transfer the music to your iPod directly with iTunes. If it is mp3 or AAC format, without converting. If it is wma or other formats, iTunes will convert it to AAC automatically.
Just Click "file -> Add file to library".

This is very simple, simply drag you're limewire music to the ipod in itunes.
