Hello, wells2u.

We are not clear on your problem. Are you burning to a blank DVD and getting only audio on playback? Please describe in more detail all the steps you followed from beginning to end and all the software you utilized.

In DVD Shrink after you click the Backup icon, are you choosing the Burn with Nero option?

Try the "Create an image file and burn with DVD Decrypter" option and see if you get the same results.

Nero 5 is out of date and your burner is old. Have you used these Sony disks before or are they new?

You might want to get a RW disk to use for experimentation to avoid collecting a bunch of coasters until this is straightened out.

Also post the last section of your Nero burn log that begins:

==== *** Nero Burning ROM, History File *** =====

followed by your name and program serial number. Edit these out before posting.

The instructions above are for Nero 6. I don't have Nero 5 any longer so I don't remember the exact details but I think it was similar to Nero 6.

It should be inside your Nero folder on your hard drive and is named NeroHistory.
