I'm not sure, if this is the right forum for this question.

But I have a DVD burner coming in the mail. I was wondering what DVD-R's have the best compatibility ? Also has anyone tried lightscribe disks ?

Verbatim/Taio Yuden DVD-R 8x burn at 2-4x is your best option. I use Verbatim DVD-R 8x burn at 2x and have flawlessly backed up about 85+ PS2 games. Get them from a reputable site though. Do not get them from eBay! as you will most likely get fakes.
