Can anyone help. smart start in nero 6 comes up but none of the burning prog. work I have uninstalled several times an used all of nero clean tools but still none of the prog. work

does that mean the programs come up and you don't know how to use it or does it mean you click on a program under the Applications and don't even load up? Did you try all of the applications or just Nero Vission which sometimes loads slowly~

I would uninstall Nero using Nero Clean Tools and then run a registry cleaner and then do a fresh install of Nero.

I would add a reboot after the registry clean up! then reinstall Nero.

I have uninstalled one more time for about the tenth time used Nero clean tools including Nero clean tool for reg. and also used system mechanic reg. cleaner. Nero also causes my mouse to freeze up

do you, by chance, have Roxio on your computer? Why I ask this, because both on one computer creates problems that you are discribing! if you do have Roxio you must make a choice! one or the other.... you have Nero Cleaning tool..... here is Roxio Zapper:

and you're still having problems using the programs? is it a pirated download? that's all I can think of... or your computer is not have the minimum requirements to run the program. what's your specs?

no...... what kind of computer do you have..... what are you specs? see what I have in my signature? that's the computer I have and Nero runs fine. what do you have? how much ram, what processor,etc!

then you should have no prob with Nero! Don't know what else to tell you, unless you have a pirated copy of the program. Nero should work on your system.

Did this version come with a drive, and is that same drive installed in the computer? Sometimes the OEM versions that come with drives will not work unless the drive is installed i.e. if you changed the drive or if you are trying to run someone elses copy.
