I need help removing norton anti-virus 2006 I do not have a cd and it keeps trying to install something and then tells me Norton anti-Virus 2006 does not support repair please remove an re-install any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Start>Settings>Control Panel. Double click on "Add or Remove Programs." Find Norton and click uninstall.

Norton is an absolutely horrible virus program. Use AVG Free 7. It is leaps and bounds better than Norton, catches more viruses, uses less resources, and is FREE!

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

I have tried to go through add and remove programs but that has not worked I treid also to delete the files under program files but it will not allow me to do this

you will need a clean tool to do this ,you can get one at nortons website or call norton tech support and they can walk you though it .as said its a horrible program and should be avoided like the plauge lol use Trend Mirco PC-cillin 2006,Nod32 or the free apps. AVG or Avast all leaps and bound MUCH better than norton
