i want to know what is the best one out there the fastest and one that have the most resources and reliable. right now i have morpheus the reason i have that one is that it downloads torrents and have its own search bar.

I'm partial to Azureus.. As far as resources go there is millions of torrent files out there on the web. You just have to find what you want. Since I've been using I've improved my music collection by leaps and bounds

As for speed that depends on several factors ie your connection speed, you ability to set the program and router up, your isp, the tracker you use, how many seeds and peers that particular torrent has... and on and on but those are some of the primary factors.

does the program make you download faster or is it your connection that makes fast downloads? i download mostly files and programs than music. Well i have broadband it seems pretty fast don't know the exact speed.

The thing about torrents is that your downloading chunks of the file from lots of people... the technology is actually quite amazing... but yes using torrents is much faster than using a gnuetala (sp) network like limewire or bearshare..

and azureus is actually just a client.. there are many different clients to handle the downloading of torrents...

I used to use Azureus but have switched to uTorrent. A great little program and I have uploaded more than 2TB of data with it. It uses a lot less memory than Azuerus but doesn't have as many bells and whistles but I still love the little client.

Its my favorite. Its pretty heavy on memory but its good.
