Just what programs do you have, quality is something that is designated by the amount of compression of the movie. If you want better quality then do movie only you will have less compression. Get rid of unnecessary audio/subtitles and extras. You can use DVDShrink which is free and use advanced analysis and AEC quality enhancements for higher compressed movies. It is all in the eye of the beholder and there preferences. I have used Shrink and they look great my 52 inch set. DVDRebuilder is an excellent program it encodes rather than transcodes, but it is time consuming and you have to have the patience to wait for your backup. Transcoders such as Shrink/Recode/CloneDVD are faster and produce good results also.
