So, Can my PS2 get BANNED online?

I've read tons of posts, looked all over online, and never found a definite answer. And of course, this is for educational purposes only...

If someone use a DNAS ID that's posted online, or one off a rented game, is it possible that my PS2 will get banned permanently from online?

Do PS2's get banned like Xboxes on LIVE? how does it work? Any help is greatly appreciated.

You only use the last 6 digits of the ID that came from the original game, you change the first 4 digits (1-9 and a-f) so it will be different from other people's IDs.
