Stupid icon has appeared on joined AVi files

I have just used Boilersoft's AVi/MPEG/RM/WMV joiner to put part 1 & 2 of an AVI movie together as 1 file and now I've got this stupid icon imbedded in the movie when I play it. Any ideas on how to prevent this happening the next time I use this program?

VirtualDub's is free and does not add stupid icons. More, joining using it is explayning in http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/. Solving the 'Sampling rates' error is explained in FAQ-Read this first.
