I tried to burn my video files that I shrunk with DVD shrink to a DVD-R double layer but nero keeps telling me it cant burn to it..only DVD+R double layer..Anybody know what software can burn to DVD-R DL???
Your drive may not be capable of burning DVD-R DL media. What make and model dvdrw drive do you have? Neither of my drives will burn DVD-R DL media but that's ok since I much prefer DVD+R booktyped dvd-rom.

Once you've got the correct discs I suggest using something besides DVD Shrink for DL backup...you will produce many coasters if you use DVD Shrink. Try PgcEdit to insert the layer break for you, or a simpler method would be to rip with DVD Decrypter in ISO mode and then burn the .MDS file with Imgburn for a 1:1 copy.
you know what your first mistake was, lesson earned lesson not burned. The next mistake is no reason to use DVD SHRINKS if you use DL disc that is if it is a 1:1 copy.
Shrink is a perfect program, for me, to burn a 1:1 copy to a DL media. I'm not using Shrink to recode but to create a 9GB ISO image file to burn automatically with decrypter. Other ways on my set up have layer break problems. Once parameters are set, using two drives, then a DL back up with Shrink-Decrypter combo is one button start to finished disc.
