when i burn some avis the file is perfectly in sync when its on my computer but when i burn it on a dvd its out of sync whats causing this and how can i fix it

This could be 1 of 3 things in my opinion.
1. Quality of download
2. Quality of media used
3. Burn speed.

Use good quality media such as Verbatim or even Sony that is made in japan, burn at around 4X.
