Heya folks. Some of you might remember me as Tom Melee, the old Lokitorrent VIP from way back in the day. In january of 2001, I got tired of answering the same questions 100 times a day, and made something called the BT Bible, which, for its time, was very up to date and informative. It basically covered everything anyone could need for successful torrenting.
The last time I saw the file, it was still being tracked by Torrent Spy, and had something around 1.5 million downloads. Well, apparently it's resurfaced, as I found it on demonoid the other day, made me giggle, as I'd almost forgotten about it. So, I dug around through my old backups, found the original word document (it's a pdf for transport), and updated it.

Thanks for the rapidshare post. Im on dial-up and its faster than a torrent. Good job with the BT Bible :) I really liked it. Well written and educational for all. peace out - PeaInAPod

You do realize that it doesn't *actually* HAVE to be torrented, right?
You can just go to the rapidshare link in my sig, then click the "free" button, and it'll begin automatically...it's only about 600k...
I've been seeding it since it started. I encrypt my headers though, so it get it from ME you have to encrypt yours too.
