Depends on if your PS2 will read RW's or not. Mine (v4) can't, but other people's can, even those with the same version as I have. PS2 is very fussy about the type of media you use, but I would say that based on the probability percentages, probably not.

Your best bet, before rushing out to buy any, would be to see if a friend has an RW you could borrow, then try it with that 1st.
