Does anyone no how i can watch my ripped movies without burning them to disk? I want to be able to use power dvd software to watch them so i dont have to burn them.
VLC PLAYER is the way to go. I ripp all to an ISO file (image file), keeping it stored on the drive for future burning if i want, VLC PLAYER has no problem playing it. The best thing is that keeping the image no degredation to file structure occurs. That is my opinion. Good Luck.
if you ripped the DVD in file mode then you have VOB files with VTS files...... use a Region free player like Media Player Classic, or DVD X Player. Just open the VTS_folder and click on the Video_TS file.... this will start the DVD in that player.
Thanks for the info but i just played the movie on power dvd. The only prob was i had to change the audio stream every few chapters. I was thinking it was caused by the power options or the screen saver in windows.
I going to burn it again with all audio. I use DVD Shrink to encode butt i didnt copy the DTS audio file. Just the 2 channel and the 5.1 dolby. I'm so used to burning to disk that i forgot that i didn't have to shrink it to 4 gigs.
Power DVD has some options to select additional audio by right-clicking on the big screen and then selecting audio, and a drop down menu should appear with additional selections.
if you're asking what movies to RENT so you can copy them...... that's a no no! illegal and shouldn't be asked or even talked about! Read the forum rules! And
