My speed is very low on unregisterd torrent sites , only about 4-8 kbs. When i had cable my speed was about 10-15 now i got DSL and its about 4-8. Also im using bitTornado, can anyone tell me how to fix this???
I don't know a great deal about this but those speeds are awfully slow. I don't know what speed DSL you have but when I had 1.5/384 DSL, I was getting speeds of 25 - 150 kB with BitTornado and even faster with 2.5/784 on unregistered sites. I found BitTornado very sensitive to upload settings. DSL slow - 12 with the 1.5 line and DSL fast - 50 for the 2.5 line seemed best for me. Maybe, experiment with them. Could you be behind a router, try disabling your firewall if you use one, could your ISP be throttling BitTorrent, do you have a green light? If green, I would imagine all you could do is experiment with upload settings or try a different client.
