DVD Decrypter problems(ANNOYING ME!)

I have got a Pioneer DVR-A05 Burner and have tried backing up my DVD collection numerous times with numerous guides and techniques. the latest one i tried was using DVD Decrypter. I tried the way of selecting,
MODE, ISO, READ, and copying the entire movie to my HDD (less than 4.36GB by the way)
and it copies perfectly fine.
But when it comes down to copying the movie to DVD-R it starts for about 30 seconds and then it comes up with an error.
Some ASPI error and i have downloaded a ASPI file form the software area on the home page and still it didn't work.

i have also tried the smart ripper way of copying it to my HDD (whole movie DVD-5 + DVD-9) then tried copying it using PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0 and it starts copying and then it finishes within a minuite and it hasn't copied anything of the movie ( well maybe like 20 MEG) but i can see by the back of the disc that it has copied jak all and definetly wont play.

Nero [UDF mode] drag & drop all files into VIDEO_TS folder

I got Prassi Prismo bundled with my Pioneer 104 , had nightmares with it for a couple of days. Switched to Nero & success from there on in.

dude like the herbsman has posted in a lot of questions check your media use a good 4x media and check your firmware .i have the same dvd drive and have not stopped writing for about a week with the loss of only one disc

i havent yet tried it but i will when i finish downloading NERO. unless there is a certain versoin of the program that i need.
another thing? can you use the same method for copying DVD9 discs or do i have to get more programs.

Yes...DVD2One or DVD Shrink will help in the compression to 4.3Gb DVD-R (+R).
