K so I'm by far not a newb. Been Editing, converting and burning videos for quite a while now. Until recently everything was going great, but recently i've come across a problem.

Some video files(movies) are showing MUCH longer playtimes than there actually is (for example a movie is 134 minutes long but tmpgenc is showing its 275 minutes long). As well, if I let it encode it takes about 3 times as long as it usually should, and the final result is the movie, plus about 3 hours of black screen. What am I doing wrong, I've been wracking my brain trying to figure it out and it's starting to drive me nuts. By the way it's only happening to SOME videos, not ALL.
