Problem burning dvd's

I am having trouble burning dvd's. I have tried using Nero 7.3.02 and dvd decrypter 3.5.4. Both error out at the end of the burning session. I have tried different media. I am also not doing anything differently than before. I am using Win XP SP2 with 512mg of ram, my burner is a Pioneer dvr-106d(which i have updated to the latest firmware). Here is a copy of the Nero log from my last attempt. Is my burner going bad or is something else wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try and free up some more memory by shutting down unnecessary programs that maybe running, no internet usage. Also try to do a spyware scan and defrag.

Clean or have your DVD burner serviced. There are cleaning kits available. Sometimes just a gentle appplication of canned air can remove dust blocking the laser.
Replace the DVD burner.

First off thanks for your response. I took my plain dvd-rom out and left the burner as the only device on that ide controller. Closed as many processes as I could and tried again. Here is the last Nero error log. If anybody has an idea feel free to jump in. I'm starting to think I need a new burner. It is almost 3 years old.
