Using Riata 8x, burning at 2x with DVDdecryptor. Using Swap Magic 3.6 DVD. When it says load program I get the invalid disk. I even tried putting original in at this point and still says invald PS2 disk???...can anyne help?

what version PS2?
Is the fliptop you have one you bought?
it could be installed srong and the Ps2 could be resetting when you open it.
Does the Swap Magic disc load fine and then the message comes up after you open it to swap?

mine used to do that so i had to stand it up on its side ... my friend actually flipped his over so u saw the bottow .. a lot with the laser but i have v12 and they have laser problems ... i need the fix though ... but with your situation try those 2 and it should work

yes I bought the flip top, and the swap disk loads just fine. I can hear the driving searching the backup disk but just spits out "not a PS2 disk"..I really don't understand why when I put the original Tiger Woods in after swap disk that it still says the same thing.

do the original games load up fine when you do not use Swap Magic?
IF yes then i would say it is resetting because anything you put in to start with is loading up. But when you open it to swap that is where the problem is starting at.
If it resets it will give you the "not a valid PS2: message as the part where you put in swap magic has just been erased and it is now trying to load a back up disc.
I have never tried loading a original copy with Swap Magic so i have no idea about how that would work.

the only 2 common causes i know of for that error are the PS2 reseting. And the disc being burned wrong or being burned on bad media that your PS2 just doesn't like.

slidecards suck. I would find the problem and fix the fliptop.
I assume then that it is the older chunk model?
try this just for kicks.
losen the screws in the bottom to about half way out and turn it on and try again. Mine did that when i first installe it and the screws were too tight, Mine i have to remove the screws all the way, then take the top off and put in backl on. then it worked
