i seem to be having a problem converting a xvid to dvd i keep getting a message : subtitle preperaion failed because SUB/IDX of standard are included in the same sequence can i still burn to move or should i delete it

if you're going to try it out then I would burn to an RW not and R!! this way you can erase the disk if need be!

alsooooooo what program are you using to convert your files? did you try ConvertXToDVD? I love that program, it does a great job.

if this is a downloaded file from the internet and ConvertXtoDVD is giving you that error message then 2 things could have happened:

1. the file was corrupt.
2. the program can't convert that type of file.

i have been using WINAVI Video Converter
it works great and it uses Nero to burn after your done converting
i have Nero installed but it may use others
searh here for the software
