I have installed the most recent version of Nero 7 Ultra (the 7.2.0 b or whatever...the newest one with the b on the end) and of course it extremely glitchy. In fact when I add most movies and try to add chapters thats when it goes to hell. I place the first chapter point and it freezes up for about a min. Then it usually just shows a white box with an x through it instead of the picture its supposed to have. After doing this several times to add chapters to my movies (which takes forever because of previous problems) I then try to add background, edit fonts, etc.... however everything I click on (change background for example) freezes up and takes from 10 to 60 seconds to activate. Why is this? Does it have to do with Nero resizing all my movies to fit (a new feature)? Is something else going on? This makes Nero basiclly totally unuseable. What can I do? Does anyone know when Nero plans on fixing these ridiculous bugs? Is anyone else having problems adding chapters? I know I can restore to an earlier version (Nero 6 worked fine but of course diddnt support surround sound, or mpeg 4's). Also from Nero 6 (which came with my sony dual layer burner) through all of the updates to now I still to this day CANNOT get a dual layer to burn. I have posted several error logs each gaining me different advice (like removing all roxio programs for instance) yet over and over my burning STILL fails when trying to burn Dual layers. Single layers no prob, dual layers no go. Does anyone have any further advice? And finally, ever since installing Nero 7 my computer has been behaving...strangely. Doing wierd stuff, slowing down, suddenly restarting, freezing up. These problems persist even after I use the clean tool and totally remove Nero. Any ideas whats going on? Ive run ad aware (after updating it) with no viruses appearing. Is the newest Nero somehow corrupting my system???
