I have been waiting for a long time...I got the GTA LCS UMD to satisfy me for the moment but is firmware 2.50 getting closer to being cracked or at least have a downgrader to 1.5 made for it??

could be at any moment. but there is a problem that they are having with the coding, sony made a hell of an ecryption code on the firmwares 2.1+. At least that is what i heard is the problem.

My guess is somewhere in 6 months to 18 months.

If anyone ever reads this page...Firmware 2.5 and 2.6 already have a downgrader (downdater) to 1.5!! (It came out after activity ended in this page)

of course we are gonna read it!...the threads are arranged by the newest post time...but the 2.5/2.6 downdater is mega old news now!!
