I hope this is the best place to post this. I did a search.:)
I have been trying to put my audio CD's onto DVD and have it play on my player.
I made several with nero - wavelab? - audio cd creator -
thing is all the software converts to AC* or MP* then burns.
I would like to burn wavs as what they are 16-bit 44.1
pretty sure its possible - small menu or none just chapters for songs
would be great.
FATTY for whosoever show me da light.

Rip the cd with Exact Audio Copy, it has an option to rip in uncompressed wav.

Well smart guy I'll repeat: rip with EAC uncompressed and then burn the files to dvd with whatever f@$king program you want. Do you understand now? Or do I need to hold your f@$king hand and press the mouse keys for you too?

BTW by "$$.1" do you mean 5.1? As in SACD or DVD-A? Obviously that's a whole different thing, but I'll let someone with more patience than me to help you with that...

I see what you want to do now. You don't need video-ts files, since your player will play music cd's fine correct? I'm not at home so I can't check but does Nero have "make music disc" option for dvds?

Another thing you can try is rip with EAC and then make a music cd project by compiling all the music files together and then burning the project to dvd with Nero. This shouldn't be to difficult, I just can't remember if an uncrompressed wav file is the same as a normal cd audio file. I thought it was.

Are you positive you are ripping in uncompressed wav with EAC? bitrate should be around 1100.

Found this: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=149312

audio dvd creator seems pretty cool, but making a slideshow in nero should accomplish the same thing.

Let us know how it works, I didn't think it would be a big deal to do, but maybe it is. I wonder if a person could just rip iso's and then burn like 4 of them to dvd?

so I did - WAVeLAB 5 is cool, you can keep the wavs's at 44.1 BUT it builds and burns as a audio DVD only - which means all the files are in the TS_audio folders which WILL not work on a DVD player. so now it back to the drawing board.
