Everytime I try and convert a VOB file to AVI using WinAvi it tells me something about "Error can't read graph make sure Media Player can read the file". To me one has nothing to do with the other one. I tried Divx and I would get my pentition by the time it would finish. Let me know what I need to do please......you good people.
It obviously renders the input via dshow. If it can't create a dshow graph for the input, then that means it can't encode it (no input = no output). The idea is that if a directshow player can render the file, then it should be able to. Graphedit is probably more usefull than wmp though at least newer versions, since they don't show you any filter information.
Your rite I did not read the guide I didn't think it would be so difficult AVI is so popular. But anyway I will do what's suggested and if their are anymore problems I will holla back. Thanks you guys and have a nice day.
After lookin at the guide and all the steps I got discourged not that I couldn't do it but it seems like a lot just to change the 4gb of VOB files to AVI. I can't believe their is not a one step program. All the stuff I download off the web is AVI and all those people do all those steps in the guide to do it.............my hat is off.
