so.. i just did a fresh install of my xp pro
i have used bitcomet and utorrent with good results
but if you had to choose for best what one would it be (you can provide another thats not bitcomet or utorrent)

I live my life one warez download at a time.

utorrent for sure. Never had any problems with this program. In my experience, bitcomet is crap, stick with utorrent or azeurus

Yea....Utorrent takes up very little system resources, and azeurus uses Java and is very user friendley and more graphical i guess you can say...But yea either one is the best

ive always used Azureus, its an excellent client, easy to use and feature rich (although i wouldnt recommend it if you have a small amount of memory)

i have recently tried Utorrent which seemed to work perfectly well though

Azereus is top, give that a go if you already havent, no harm in trying hey ;)

i went with Utorrent.
that Azereus never worked good for me.. sure they fixed the bugs..
was not a ram issue i have 1.5 gigs in my system.
