Just bought Hollow Man II. DVD Decrypter showed no encryption which I thought was strange. DVD Shrink had no problems either. I then tried with Windows Explorer and again no problems! The disc is produced by Destination Films. It also says the layout and design is by Sony. Hey, I'm not complaining, just thought this was strange.
Well, considering it's a direct-to-DVD movie with no big name actors or actresses (well, Christian Slater lol), it doesn't surprise me. I don't think Sony wanted to waste the time or money putting copy protection on a disc that will sell poorly. lol
and you'll be surprise just how many newer movies that DVDDecrypter can do..... still king of the hill..... still a great program...... and I use it soooooooo often! sure there are the newer movies that it can't do but just add AnyDVD to it and bingoooooo still good!
ohhhhh I totally understand that DVDDecrypter can't do 100% of all the new movies out! I know! I have over 1200 now! and I use AnyDVD with DVDDEcrypter for those! Soooooo it's nothing new. If one program won't work I have many many more to play with! I like a lot of toys! LOL
@paiger651, Not the entire movie including extra's "Main Movie" only. Not a challenge to you or anything.....I was only able to get this movie in it's entirety using VOB Blanker. This movie has a very tough "Invalid DVD navigation structure" And to my knowledge it will stop any popular ripper even the recent versions(I've tried them). I at one time I did get "Main Movie" only and and to settle before VOB Blanker 2.0.1.1 came along with "Auto Mode" When AnyDVD developed a ripper the 1st thing I did is test it's capability using "Menace II Society" and it too failed to back this movie up to file. One of the toughest nuts to crack in experience.:P
