I am trying to rip audio from a DVD to MP3 using DVD Audio Ripper 4. The DVD in is a live concert one from NIN, And all that could have been. Now the software is easy to use and seems to work except that the MP3 skips and repeats iteself every 2 seconds making the file twice as big and not very plasant to listen too. Is this the copy protection on the DVD? If so I didn't realize that converting audio from a DVD was illegal. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Backing up anything from a DVD is illegal, unless it is your own paid for disk, and even then it may not be. However, try ripping the DVD to your HDD and then run that file through Audio Ripper and see if it works. You can use the free DVDFab Decrypter to rip

Thank you for the advice. I've owned the DVD for quite sometime and one of the songs, La Mer, was done amazingly well and it's a shame that I can only listen to it through my TV. It would be nice to have it loaded on my IPod. I'll give this a shot and report the results.

Your DVD must be a multi-angle one. In the ImTOO product, you can modify angle settings. On the top of the main interface, you can find a combo-box called "Angle". The default value is "All". Maybe you need select "1" instead of it. It is selectable after DVD is loaded.
