Hi guys,

Im having major problems with NeroVision express 3. Every time I click on the icon for the program it tries to load up, however nothing is displayed. No window actually opens up!!

I then try to click again, and this time it says something about the program is already open. Im losing my hair over this problem. Ive now deleted the virus checker thinking it might be that but that makes no difference.

Any answers will be much welcomed!!

maybe you need to uninstall it , then use nero clean tools

heres a link for nero 6 clean tools:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/eng/Clean_Tools.html

heres one for nero 7 clean tools

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Clean_Tools.html

or the general one:

http://www.cdr-zone.com/software/cdr_burning/nero_general_clean_t...

Once you have done that, try reinstalling it and see if that helps.

Hi,

May I ask what version of nero you are currently using? Nero vision 3 is from nero 6. If that is the case the version that has no known bugs is 6.6.0.18. Any other version will need to be removed per methods suggested in the previous post.

@guyrus,

No problem as we are all here to help where we can.

to burn or not to burn that is the question

hi guys,

Still the same old problem. Just dont know how to cure it. I even installed sp 2 for windows xp and that made no difference. Done everything people have suggested here.:0(

Strange thing is that it works fine on my brothers computer so its not a duff cd. The only thing I can think of is that I dont have enough hard disk space, just got over 9GB left. Do you think this will effect it???

Sorry ive been away on holiday so lost track of this thread.

I havent burned a dvd. My PC stats are P4 3GHz, 1gb ram, 120Gb hard disk, Windows XP sp2, Nero suite 6 installed.

Still having the same old problems. Done everything here.

Can anyone recommend any programs that are freeware that does the job of Nero express 3??? That way I can skip Nero, convert my AVIs etc to DVD format and then use Nero to burn them to DVD?????

if nero's not your cup of tea then use the link below for the free version of divx to dvd.You should be able to encode your avi to mpeg2 with this application then use nero to burn to disc

@ gwen: i gave him the free version>

thanks guyrus I have downloaded the program and it works just fine! Many thanks. I give up on neroexpress 3. Could anyone whos used both comment on the quality of the videos using these programs.

I have another problem now, sorry to be such a pain!!

When I load up neroexpress and try to import my video files (such as VOBs, IFOs etc I cant seem to create chapters and it doesnt seem to allow me to import whole folders such as VIDEO_TS. Therefore I cant seem to import more than one video. Any clues whats going on here?? Nero just seems like problem after problem anybody suggest any other good programs instead of Nero that i could buy??

Thanks as always!!

once you have encoded your video to mpeg2 , suggest you utilise Nero recode rather than Nero express 3 as recode is more adept with files as its an extension of shrink.

Just select the option: remake a dvd
