How do I enable nero to work in canada ntsc format

I have nero smart start and dvd idle pro to make the dvd region free. Im trying to burn it in ntsc format cos im sending the dvd's to canada. The program encodes properly but when it comes to burning on both dvd's and cd's it comes up with the fact that its not compatable and to select items that are.

Has anyone any ideas what im doing wrong?

Open NeroVision, click on More>>>Video Options and you will get this screen, choose NTSC

I forgot to put that in the original message that I did that. What I do is select the files that I want to copy onto dvd using Nero smart start and then select canada-NTSC and start burning. As I said it transcodes it ok and when it tries to burn it says it dont support it and throws it out. could it be thats its a XviD file cos what im trying to copy ive downloaded.

Something else that I also do is select it in NTSC format AFTER putting the files in the folder to transcode. It says to me also that the file that im trying to do is more in PAL than NTSC format and that do I want to do it in PAL format. Obviously I select no cos I dont need it in that format.

It also says that so I want to make NTSC my default settings. I select no could it be this?

Any further help greatly appriciated.

I have my default set as PAL, Nero always displays the same message giving me the choice of choosing either, this only happens if their is a mixture of PAL and NTSC ...otherwise it automatically decides on PAL.
